MGMT & Yeasayer Sell Out Hometown Shows

Brooklyn's own Yeasayer and MGMT are really make names for themselves and have already sold out their February shows at the Music Hall of Williamsburg (Feb. 12) and the Bowery Ballroom (Feb. 13).


But besides that MGMT's new single, Time to Pretend, was offered as a free download on iTunes last week and recently performed on Letterman.


Meanwhile Yeasayer's interesting experimental sound (dubbed gospel on their Myspace) has gotten positive feedback from the NYTimes, BBC and Treble. And we can't forget their unforgettable performance at the CMJ Music Marathon last year.
